Features
- Angled bellcrank steering minimizes bump steer to maintain constant steering angles throughout the full range of suspension travel.
- Trailing front axle or optional inline steering blocks can be used to tune steering response.
- Front shocks are mounted behind the shock towers. All four suspension arms utilize a “captured” hinge pin design that uses no E-clips.
- The “forward-swept” front end design provides maximum front end ground clearance. Chassis underside is contoured for maximum clearance when cornering, and minimal ground contact area on hard landings.
- 2.6:1 laydown transmission now uses the higher torque capacity differential from the RC10GT. Ultra-compact, efficient, low-CG design.
- Long CVD dog bones and axles have been designed into the rear suspension to push the T4 out to maximum legal width for more traction.
- High torque capacity, double-sided slipper provides finer adjustment, easier assembly, and lower rotating mass than comparable double-sided slippers.
- Impact-resistant rear motor guard and body mounts. Lower motor, battery, shock and body mounting positions give the T4 a lower CG for higher cornering speeds and greater stability.

Team Associated's new state-of-the-art electric racing truck.

Team Associated's RC10T4 racing truck wasted no time in proving itself in world-class competition, with the T4 sweeping the ROAR Modified Nationals Truck title with the Reedy-powered T4 just a few weeks after the truck's initial release. Associated now offers the T4 truck in a ready-to-run package that features “Race Spec” components, including a Reedy Radon 17-turn motor, LRP Ai digital speed control, and an Associated XP2 radio system.
The T4 RS RTR truck borrows the distinctive forward-swept front end and rear-mounted shock configuration featured on the RC10B4 buggy, optimized with new co-planar steering geometry. This suspension design provides maximum front-end clearance and minimizes bump-steer while maintaining desired Ackerman angles. Trailing front axle or optional inline steering blocks and axles can be used to adjust steering response. The suspension arms feature a “captured” hinge pin design so that no e-clips are needed. A heavy-duty front hinge pin brace and bumper are also included.
The transmission uses the same 2.6:1 high torque capacity differential as the RC10GT. A double-sided slipper assembly has higher torque capacity, easier assembly and lower rotating mass than comparable double-sided slippers.
| The T4 RS RTR chassis provides a super-low center of gravity by lowering the motor, battery, and shock mounting positions, enabling the truck to have a sleeker, more realistic low-profile body, greatly reducing the large, unaerodynamic “humps” over the rear shocks as seen on older-design trucks. The T4 RS RTR also comes equipped with strong, dish-style wheels and high-traction racing-compound tires. |
