The chassis is designed with a perfectly smooth, countersunk underside and angled side pods for extra cornering performance. |

Getting the power to the rear wheels is a durable low-profile gear transmission that features all-metal gears for extra toughness! The gearbox uses a 2.6 to 1 gear ratio. |

To get maximum performance on and off the track, the E-Firestorm Flux uses the same tires as the groundbreaking Firestorm 10T and E-Firestorm: Front Line asymmetric ribbed front tires and Ground Assault medium pin rear tires. |

Brushless speed, Firestorm tough!
|

The Flux takes HPI’s popular Firestorm platform to
its next logical level: brushless performance. The power plant is the Warp 5700kV
brushless motor — black-anodized, rebuildable and over 85% efficient. The ESC
is the Motiv — a forward/reverse unit that can handle 6-7 NiCd or NiMH packs,
2-cell LiPo packs, 70A of continuous current and bursts of up to 380A. And with
that potential, you get all the goodies the original E-Firestorm offered: full
bearings, threaded shocks filled with silicone oil, a TF-1 radio system, Ground
Assault rear and Front Line front tires, hex head hardware, captured hinge pins
and a painted DSX-2 body. And if that’s not enough, here’s something else you
should know: most existing Firestorm hop-ups are direct, drop-in fits for the
10T Flux.
